We now carry a special Cladded Wear Plate which will outlast an AR-500 over 4-5 times longer. That means a savings to you in costs involving labor, repair, and down-time. Our new wear resistant plate is a composite plate consisting of a low carbon steel base plate with an alloyed weat resistant cladding. It has a hardness of 600+BHN and is not difficult to work with. The low carbon steel base allows the plate to be bolted, welded or stud-welded for easy installation. The composite wear plate represents a major innovation for applications in severe abrasion and moderate impact. The success we have had with it to date ensures its future in the market.
